Serving up smiles,
one event at a time.
Our Story
What began as a passion for bringing people together through food has grown into something much bigger. To understand the story of Scarlett Catering & Events, you have to go back more than 30 years.
Originally founded as a catering company, Scarlett House Food Group built a reputation for fresh food and exceptional service. As demand grew, so did the business, expanding into food production, corporate dining, retail, and institutional food services across Ontario and Nova Scotia.
But no matter how much we evolved, our passion for delivering high-quality events never left.
So we’ve return to our roots! With our own dedicated team and identity, built on decades of culinary expertise and operational excellence, we focus on what we love most— providing true hospitality.

Green Initiatives
We’re committed to minimizing our footprint at every stage of the catering process. We carefully monitor and manage waste, use biodegradable, compostable, or recyclable materials for disposables, and continually assess food waste from preparation to plate. We support re-use and recovery efforts—like composting coffee grounds—and aim to integrate energy-efficient equipment and LEED-conscious practices wherever possible. While our sustainability journey is a continuous work in progress, we’re proud to take active steps toward greener events with every service we provide.
Supporting local isn’t just something we say— we’re proud of it.
We’re proudly Ontario-grown, just like the ingredients we love to work with. We showcase seasonal, Canadian-sourced food and drink whenever we can, thanks to a procurement team that keeps our supply chain smart, sustainable, and transparent. From farm-fresh veggies to locally procured coffee and eco-certified seafood, we aim for at least 20% of our monthly purchases to meet high environmental and ethical standards. Because when we support local, we support our community.
